Monday/Tuesday 12.00 – 3.00pm / 5.00 – 9.00pm
Wednesday – Friday 12.00 – 3.00pm / 5.00 – 11.00pm
Saturday 12.00 – 11.00pm
Sunday 12.00 – 7.00pm
On a weekday at this time of year the pub is very often quiet after 9.00pm, if you are planning to visit after this time it would be advisable to ring first, I will be happy to stay open for you but get lonely sitting on my own for 2 hours!
Monday night has turned into a bit of an odd one! The very lovely Queen Ness and Richie Rich have most kindly taken over Monday nights, they are much more fun than me and they offer their services for free! They also close when they feel like it (quite often after 9!)
Christmas opening hours are on display in the pub.
The Royal Oak is a traditional pub with the emphasis very much on the real ales and ciders. We can offer a limited selection of home cooked food to order but people are welcome to bring in their take aways in the evenings and we will be happy to supply plates and fighting irons!
Children are no longer allowed in the pub with the exception of sitting down to Sunday lunch. They are very welcome to sit outside as I did as a child as long as they behave!
