fallen angel
12/30/2011 1:58:02 PM
Fallen angel seems to have fallen for good, after several enquiries I have now established that not only am I in a queue for recompence but they even seem reluctant to attend meetings arranged by those further down the court proceedings than myself. It seems that they have not yet managed to sell their brewery which is hardly surprising and I can assume that the only reason for them not refunding my money as promised is that they don't have any! With all this in mind I am reluctant to throw more good money after bad and will try to reclaim my loss on the casks I still hold. I do now need to find out at what stage I can legally turn these into cash so if any of you out there in the same situation(and I know there are a few) can help I would be glad of the information.
If anyone from fallen angel is reading this the situation remains the same.........I will be happy to remove all trace of your sad little brewery from my web site once my account has been settled.

Fallen Angel Brewery

Fallen Angel …………….the story so far……….
3 firkins of beer from the fallen angel brewery were delivered to the Royal Oak on 3rd august at a cost of £212.04.
The stout when put on proved to be sour so I rang the brewery who told me that it was rather old and they had only got two left of that batch. Never mind I said, you were going to bring me another cask anyway, let’s just swap it for the new one.
The gardeners delight was not off when it was put on the pumps but was unpopular and I ended up throwing a good half of it away, something I haven’t done since we stopped taking beer from a certain Horsham brewer! This was, however my problem for buying the wrong beer not the brewery’s and I am prepared to stand that loss.
However, when Emma put on the last cask from fallen angel and everyone thought it should have been in the cider bar I rang them up from Devon to say I did not want the last cask from them as the beers so far had not been good and I would sort it out on my return, I was told no one else had complained but then perhaps I have more discerning customers than other pubs.
On the 19th August I sent an email asking their rep to call on me, I asked for a read receipt so I do know that my email was read on 22nd August and guess what??
Not a single word since!!!!
